Hi there!

My name’s Caleb. I’m the founder of Morris Guitar Company. I sell high quality used and refurbished guitars to musicians like you.

“Why used?” you might be wondering. It’s simple, really. When you buy used you can get a higher quality guitar at a better price.

As a musician, price matters to me. I’ve tried my hand at playing professionally - I know what gigs pay! Having been a hobbyist before that, I know it’s not always plausible to put a ton of money into a new instrument. Price is a big deal. And it’s often been the reason I’ve settled for a lesser product than I really wanted.

I don’t want that to happen to you!

Now, let’s talk about quality.

There’s a common belief that new equals better. I disagree. You don’t have to sacrifice quality when buying a used guitar. “Used” doesn’t mean “used up.” “Used” just means it’s been taken out of the box before you got it. A well crafted, cared for and properly stored guitar will last a lifetime whether it’s changed hands before you or not.

My promise to you is that I’ll never sell you a guitar I wouldn’t play myself, recommend to my best friend or give to my nephew.

I don’t want you to settle for any less than what you really want. I want to sell you the guitar of your dreams at a price you can afford.

Harry and Linda Young.jpg

I named Morris Guitar Company for grandparents, Harry and Linda Morris.

Harry was a music teacher for a number of years. He could play about anything, but his primary instrument was the clarinet. When his teaching career ended, he continued playing music for fun, in his church and in nursing homes.

Linda was a hobbyist on the piano, but she was much better than she thought! I’m not sure that mattered to her though. She just enjoyed the sound of music.

Harry and Linda always encouraged my music. They listened long before there was anything worth listening to!

I wish you could have met them.
